My flights to Tel Aviv were on the Ukrainian carrier AeroSvit. The price was certainly right, and they did a nice job with the meals. I was a little disappointed that they weren't serving a Ukrainian beer I like. I was a lot more disappointed in how little legroom their planes have. It was a good thing the flight from Kiev to Tel Aviv was only 3 hours.

Familiar Things in Unfamiliar Settings Photo Series
Something I think all expats get a kick out of is seeing things we know from the US modified or translated in other countries. From time to time, I'll post photos of some of the things I run across.
When I was in Bangkok, I couldn't resist the opportunity to have a Whopper (twice, actually), and I really liked this display for the Angry Whopper. I wasn't that impressed when I tried one in the US, so I stuck with my usual Whopper, but I appreciated the fact that I could have selected the anger level of my Angry Whopper. Or could I? No idea why there's a question mark there.
Airplane Food Photo Series
At the end of last year, I was doing quite a bit of traveling, and one of my posts was about the difference in in-flight meals between the state-owned Tajik Air and the privately-owned Somon Air. I thought it would be kind of interesting to take photos of the in-flight meals offered by different carriers.
This photo is a dinner served on Air Astana, flying from Bangkok to Almaty.
